I was really excited to purchase a home NAS unit. I have multiple PCs and this would make storage and backup so much easier. Unfortunately, it did not work. For some reason the drive would not map to my PC. I have XP so there really shouldn't be any issues. I was able go into the drive but could not mapped to it. I spent 3 hours with WD technical support and they could not figure it out either. I had to return it which with Amazon was no problem at all. Eventually just purchased a standard USB external drive.

Really easy to install and setup! I love the download function, it's awesome because you don't need to let your computer turned on. The transfer speed depends on your network, so it's the only thing I don't like about it, but it doesn't matter to me. If you have the chance to buy it, do it!
